NEW OMEGA SPEEDMASTER BROAD ARROW CO-AXIAL WATCH IN ADVENTUROUS SPIRIT
Omega is pleased to unveil its new Speedmaster Broad Arrow Co-Axial watch. The new model demonstrates some stylish improvements of the classic design of the Speedmaster watch that has joined over a hundred NASA missions, with all six lunar landings on the list.
The dial of the Omega watch has been created in black or silver. It is decorated with a signature “Geneva Waves” pattern. The chronograph counters are framed by three applied rings. You will notice that the silver dial has blackened sub-dial rings, while the black dial has silver rings, creating a fine contrast. The counters feature a one-of-a-kind “beehive” surface that distinguishes the Speedmaster Broad Arrow Co-Axial from other members of the collection. The date window is found at 4:30.
The hour and minute hands are blackened or rhodium-plated. The hands are provided with white Super-LumiNova coating to enhance the readability of the dial under reduced light conditions. The chronograph hand in the center and the sub-dial hands feature a red tip.
The case of the new Omega watch is sculptured from stainless steel and measures 44.25 mm in diameter, having maintained the shape of other Speedmaster models. The case is coupled with a stainless steel bracelet or an integrated black alligator leather strap. The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant.
The heart of the watch is the brand’s exclusive self-winding column-wheel chronograph movement - the Co-Axial calibre 3313. It offers the precision of a COSC-certified chronometer.
The mechanism is provided with the brand’s Co-Axial escapement on three levels, guaranteeing supreme chronometric performance for long periods of time. It gives an advantage of setting the hour independently of the minute and second hands, so the watch wearer can easily travel between different time zones. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
