Take this list from Household Hacker for example; it’s got plenty of ‘hacks’ you can use right at home to help prevent any would-be burglar from even attempting to enter your home. There’s even some tips in case they DO make it inside. Overall this is definitely something everyone needs to see, and there’s more than a couple tips in there that I’ll be using myself!

Two Boys Were Digging In The Yard When They Uncovered THIS. But That’s Only Half The Story. -...

What’s the most incredible or unusual thing you might find in your backyard? Say you pick up a metal detector and find an old coin, or perhaps comes across an arrowhead. That’s all well and good, but nothing even comes close to what two California boys found in 1978.

Because these kids found a Ferrari !

This is the front yard in a Los Angeles neighborhood where the vehicular treasure was discovered in early February of 1978.

A new family had just moved into the house when their two boys struck gold. The family called the authorities, and an excavation began. It turned out that the car was actually an insanely valuable 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS.

The car had been poorly mummified with towels and cloths. It was obvious that someone wanted to come back for it. But who? And why did they bury it?

After an investigation by the police, the nefarious reason as to why it was down there was discovered.

The previous owners hired criminals to drive the car into the ocean so they could claim the insurance money. But those thieves hid the car in the ground in hopes of coming back for it.

With the mystery solved and the car making headlines all over the nation, it was auctioned off to the highest bidder. A mechanic with his own shop bought it and restored it.

The gorgeous car was like new again, except this Ferrari had a story unlike any other.

In addition to entering the buried Ferrari in car shows, the new owner put a vanity plate on it that read “Dug Up.”

Not a bad thing to find just lying right under your front yard.

Well, that doesn’t happen everyday. What a story.

5 Hilarious Photos Taken At The Perfect Moment

Let's face it: we're a generation obsessed with documenting our lives through photos on social media platforms. This may have turned us all into narcissistic self-obsessed sociopaths, but on the bright side, we now collectively snap so many photos that we often capture amazing moments that could have easily been missed in the pre-smartphone camera era.

Whether it's an inadvertent illusion caused by an unfortunate angle or an intentional and deviously planned photo made to look dirty, the following 16 photographers were blessed with photos so perfectly strange, they will leave you staring in awe. These pictures just go to show you that a little difference in perspective can change everything!

1. They wondered why the photographer chose to take the photo from such a low angle.

5 Of The Dumbest Things People Brought To The Auto Shop

It's common to hear horror stories about people who have had terrible experiences with mechanics. Complaints about being swindled, cheated, over overcharged are common, but what about mechanics who have had to deal with dumb customers? Some people deal with car troubles their own way, ignoring warnings from their vehicle or using duct tape to fix the problem, leaving mechanics scratching their heads.

There's the Problem

The owner of this Volkswagen Jetta came to the conclusion that they were dealing with an air leak, so they wrapped their airflow meter and intake hose with tape. It wasn't duct tape and easily removed, but the mechanic wasn't happy about having to fiddle with this.

#1 Gliding on the Highway

Turning on this tire must have been like riding a slip and slide. Driving on a completely worn tire is more than dangerous, as they are easily punctured or can cause a loss of of vehicle control (braking, spin outs, etc.).

#2 More Cowbell

If this was a prank: genius. In this instance, the customer complained to the mechanic that they kept hearing a bell sound coming from under their car. There's no word on why they didn't just take a peek under the vehicle, but the auto shop took care of the concern by detaching the belt that connected the bell to the vehicle.

#3 Strap Up

People will do anything to keep from having to buy new tires. Maybe it's because it's recommended that tires must be purchased two or four at a time, increasing your bill if you only need one. However, there are moments when it's just time to say R.I.P. to your worn tires and splurge (or catch a sale!) for new ones.

#4 Warning Signs

Your check engine light is your friend. When it pops on, it's safe to say that most of the time it's your car's way of getting your attention. For this car owner, however, they decided that it was more of a suggestion than anything, and rode 84,000 before having their first oil change.

#5 A Different Kind of Herb

Not completely positive, but that doesn't look like basil. Marijuana smokers may have secret stashes in their cars, so it isn't uncommon for mechanics to come across the random ways people try to conceal their weed.

And safety is important, but if something requires a lock that big maybe it shouldn't be stored in your car. Also, how does one's tire bubble in ten different places?

Car Collections

For some people, having a four-car garage in a fancy suburban home will just not be enough. For them, they actually need an entire property to house their collection of cars.
Here is a list of the Top 5 people with the biggest car collection in the world.

 5.Jeff Beck
Jeff Beck is a rock god who was a member of The Yardbirds. He is also an avid collector of vehicles. His favorites are the classic Deuce Coupes and 1932 Ford Roadsters. He also has a 1932 three-window Ford coupe, which he copied from the car used in the classic movie called “American Graffiti.” He set out to create an exact replica after losing out in an auction to buy the original one. He still also has the 1963 split-window Corvette Stingray that he bought during the heydays of The Yardbirds.

4. Nick Mason
There must be something about car collection and rock stars because after Jeff Beck, Nick Mason, the drummer of Pink Floyd, comes next in our list. He has cars from all eras and he makes it a point to keep all of it in tip-top condition. Mason is known to have a love for car racing, having participated in Le Mans several times. It is no wonder that his collection is full of super cars, like the 1931 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300, 1927 Bugatti Type 35, Ferrari 312 T3, Ferrari Enzo, 1955 Jaguar D-Type, Maserati 250F, McLaren F1 GTR and 1990 Porsche 962. He also has a Ford Model T that was originally owned by Coco the Clown.

2. Ralph Lauren
Like his designs, Ralph Lauren’s collection is about quality. His collection is so unique that it has already been featured in a museum.
