Mind-Blowing, Crazy and Bizarre: 3 Home Designs that will Shock You

When building a home, there is often a good chance that you will end up in a traditional style house that resembles many other nearby homes. However, some people want to avoid tradition altogether, opting to design homes that stand apart from others as a reflection of their personalities. We found 18 mind-blowing and bizarre home designs that will surprise you in the fact that they stand upright! These homes will give you a fresh perspective on design and function! Are you ready? Let’s take a look at a few of the most bizarre houses in the world!

Look again! No, this picture has not been distorted in any way. In fact, the home has been constructed in a unique architectural design that creates the appearance of being distorted. Structurally sound despite the appearance, this uniquely beautiful home opens its center to a ceiling of glass windows that offer breathtaking overhead views.

Let’s be honest: if there weren’t people in this picture, we would have turned the photo around to ensure the house was right-side up. But, thanks to the long line of guests waiting in line, we are quite certain that this house was built upside down. Without any danger of rolling down the hill, the home was constructed to look as though it had been tossed aside and toppled over, a successful design to say the least!

This home was built as a replica of a David Steinbeck home that was built especially for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The house was designed to mirror its natural landscape and work with the beauty of the surrounding geography. From the stone work and extended deck to the waterfall, this is the most peaceful home on our list.

Pro Street 1965 Fairlane

The 16th Annual Silver Springs Ford & Mustang Roundup Sixteen years is a long time for anything these days, but we’re constantly amazed at the flyers we receive here at the office for shows all across the country that are well into the double digits for their annual show. A successful show isn’t easy to come by.
You have to have a nice location, a good date on the calendar (you know how many shows are scheduled for Father’s Day weekend every year?), and a well-organized staff of club members or employees to handle the logistics. A big show (we’re talking 200 or more cars) can’t be handled by just one person. Just because a show has a “show chairperson” doesn’t mean that they are responsible for everything. No, delegation is the keyword and it takes several people to do it right-someone to handle registration, someone to handle vendors, and so forth. Day of show is a whole ‘nother monster with lines of cars that need to be run through registration and parked in a timely manner. No one wants to sit in a line overheating just to get into a car show. Not even me!
