Acura ILX Endurance
The Acura ILX Endurance race car had its premiere this week at the 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. Acura announced that the ILX endurance racer is going to have its competition debut at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The Acura ILX Endurance comes with all the mods required by such a race car. These include a full roll cage,
a Bride Gardis III race bucket seat, an OMP competition steering wheel and a Schroth safety harness. The Endurance Acura ILX is also equipped with a Brockway Engineering D Gauge digital OBD2 gauge and a Braille lightweight battery. The ILX Endurance'
aerodynamic parts include a Baja Designs LED lighting system, a new front splitter and an APR GTC-200 rear spoiler. The Acura ILX Endurance is powered by a K24Z7 engine and a 6-speed transmission. It's equipped with an AEM intake, a racing exhaust system, an H&R suspension, Enkei RPF1 wheels and BF Goodrich R1 tires. The Endurance ILX's equipment list also includes an HPD-lightened flywheel and racing clutch, a limited slip diff, new motor mounts, anti-roll bars and rear upper suspension control arms.
